How long does it take to get started with the room booking system?
We set up your account the same day we receive your request. After that it typically takes 15–30 minutes for an admin to add rooms and users. Most organisations are up and running within 24 hours. See the step-by-step guide.
Do we need to install anything to use Roombook?
No. Roombook is fully web-based and works in all modern browsers — on desktop, tablet and mobile. No app, no installation and no IT department approval required. Read more under Features.
Can we have multiple independent departments or teams?
Yes. Each department can have its own unique link and its own room and user system. Data is fully isolated — one department can never see another's bookings. Suitable for the scenarios described under Use cases.
How does access control work in the booking system?
Admin decides which rooms and resources each user can book. In addition, admin can require approval for specific users and configure whether bookings are shown on the public display screen.
What happens if we accidentally delete a booking?
Every change is logged in an audit log with a before/after snapshot. Deleted bookings can be restored with one click directly in the interface. There is also an undo function (Ctrl+Z) for recently performed actions.
What does Roombook cost?
Roombook is free for up to 2 rooms. If you need more rooms it costs 250 SEK/month for unlimited rooms, users and bookings. On top of that, optional add-ons can be activated per account: Capacity rooms (multi-booking with seat limits) costs 50 SEK/month. No lock-in — contact us if you want to cancel and we will close the account at no extra cost.
What support do we get if something goes wrong?
